Knowing that I was going to start figuring out how to "blog" and also knowing that I would be telling my family and friends (who love me and won't slam me too greatly for all the missteps I make - hint hint!!) I started looking for a mobile device that was fast, had wifi built in and also either had a keyboard with it or could use a keyboard.
What I "really" wanted was PSP that would use a keyboard because that way, I could also watch movies. Not while riding. Listen to music. Mine, not someone else's. And play mindless video games. Most especially PacMan and Tetris. Not to be!!!
So, today I settled for a Palm Tungsten TX which has wifi built in, supports a full-size keyboard and will play any games that I download to it. I still have to figure out if that means PacMan and Tetris. No movies. And I can put my music onto an SD storage card which I can then listen to while riding.
So, first move taken care of - Handheld to post with!!! Ordered from Circuit city today. Won't have it for Las Vegas but hey - what happens is Vegas stays in Vegas right?? I'll get to try it out next week when we get back.
